About

This blog has been a long time in the making. Its first incarnation was in 2014, when I was moved to create a space where I could capture and share reflections on faith as it manifests itself in our day to day existence. Like creation itself, faith is to be found in every crevice and corner of our lives, and it shapes who we are, how we relate to the world around us, and how we relate to God. It fascinates me daily.

After much stalling, I have finally created that space and brought it to life here. I believe in God, and see Him everywhere around me, and within me. The Quran states that He ‘is closer to you than your jugular vein’ (50:16). I am not a scholar, nor am I here to preach; I just want to air and share how faith occurs to me in my daily existence, reflect on the art of being human, and perhaps learn from others through sharing and peaceful dialogue. It is only from equitable communication that we will build understanding.
